How YOU can be involved:

Partner Through Prayer: Please pray for us! It is crucial that we have a band of people behind us bringing us constantly before God.

  • Some specific ways to pray
  • Our walks with the Lord
  • Our marriage
  • Our relationships with co-workers
  • Provision for our needs
  • Upcoming transitions

Partner By Encouraging Us:

When people send notes, call on the phone, remember our birthdays, invite us to stay with them, help set us up with services for practical needs while we are here in the states, and send care packages, it enables us to not only get to the field emotionally and spiritually strong, but also helps to keep us there.

Partner Through Finances:

NTM missionaries are responsible to raise their own support (We do not get a paycheck). If you would like to help us in this way, please contact us or give directly through NTM in one of the following ways. Visit our blog to get to know us more. http://wallhoffs.wordpress.com

Dear Friends and Family,

We do hope you are all having a wonderful Spring. We enjoy hearing from you and knowing what is going on in your lives. We wanted to give you an update on everything in FL. We have now been here for a little over a month and things have not gone like we had originally hoped. Although flying down in Haiti may still work out, it hasn't so far and the plan keeps changing with that and everything else. If the number of hours and experience that Justin has been accumulating does not increase dramatically, he is not going to be able to meet the requirements to leave in July. The most recent development is that one of the helicopters Justin has been flying was run into by a lawn service just yesterday outside of the owner's house. That will probably slow things down further. It is also looking like the turbine transition course Justin was going to do with the owner down here will probably not work out either.

Please pray for us as we try to come up with a new plan of attack with our Chief Pilot and NTM Aviation leadership back in AZ. One possible option would be to fly back to AZ for a month and rent a friend's helicopter out there to try and get in as much flying as possible in that time frame. Obviously, there are going to be hurdles to jump regardless of which way we head. We don't know what the Lord has for us in this situation or what direction He would have us go. There are many things to trust the Lord for...and we Need Your Prayers!!! Regardless of what is decided, because things have not been working out down here like we had hoped, it means less time to say goodbyes to all of you which makes us very sad. However, we will be sure to make one last trip around to see you all before we leave in July.

We would also appreciate your continued prayers for all the other details that have to work out for our July departure. One of the big details is for our visas. We have everything in and they are being processed in Indonesia. However, the whole process can be a fairly long ordeal depending on how much they want to make the Americans "Sweat." :)

Anyway, we do very much appreciate your partnership, love, and prayers. We look forward to seeing you before too long.

Love,
Justin & Courtney

Hey Friends!
indonesia.jpg
We've been in FL for nearly a month now, time flies. Only 3.5 months until we leave for Indonesia...July is coming up fast!

We would really appreciate it if you would pray for the rest of our time here in FL. We plan to be here probably through the end of May. We had hoped that Justin would get hours quickly, but in the first 3 weeks, he hardly got in any flight time. This past week things started to pick up and he has been chasing birds out of the fields for some farmers. This is horrible for the farmers, but please pray that the birds keep coming back so he has some flying to do every day!! There are also some possible opportunities to flight instruct, but it seems sometimes that we hear about possibilities and they are very slow in coming to be.

It looks right now like probably we will NOT be going to Haiti, the helicopter that has been down there is probably coming back up to the US to do agricultural spraying. We will let you know if that changes. Things change often around here. :)

Please be praying for us in general, that we will have peace and trust that the Lord is in control. We would like know how everything is going to happen, but we are living day to day and sometimes hour to hour down here not knowing what's next.

In some of the down time, though, we've enjoyed seeing Justin's Uncle Grant and Auntie Bev and cousin Ehren and his family and Courtney's cousins Kimberly and Maria. We are so thankful to have family relatively nearby!

We're very much looking forward to seeing many of you when we leave FL and head toward VT and Chicago! Thanks for keeping us in your prayers and for being part of our team. We miss you all!

Love,
Justin & Courtney
