German and luz Marina Millan

Testimony - Luz Marina's older brother invited them to a church and they like the teaching a lot so they decided to continue attending the meetings each Sunday. On a Wednesday (July 21 1989) they showed the film "A thief in the night" and it impacted them tremendously learning about what would happen to those who missed the rapture. That night they both placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their only and sufficient savior.

Call to work in ministry of the LORD - After being Christians for 6 months they had the privilege to visit the Nukak Macu tribe in the jungles of Colombia. During this visit the Lord put in their hearts a strong desire for the many people and minority groups in the world who have never had a chance to hear the gospel. In spite of much opposition from their families and friends they attended the Missionary Institute of New Tribes Mission to prepare themselves for a cross-cultural ministry. After finishing they served for several years in the Missionary Institute as teachers. During an extended furlough from NTM they began a church in the city of Villavicencio, Colombia. Germán had the privilege and responsibility to serve as Pastor there for three years. Presently they are serving the Lord in a support ministry role to the Awa people group in Lita, Ecuador.

News letter April

Queridos hermanos y amigos, estos últimos días han sido bastante ocupados, quiero contarles algunas cosas que han pasado.Del 5 al 9 de febrero, nos visitaron un grupo de amigos americanos que tenían como meta construir la estructura de lo que será en un futuro muy cercano, si Dios lo permite nuestra capilla y lugar de reuniones para eventos grandes como la conferencia Awa y campamentos. Fue un tiempo muy especial con los hermanos y de mucho trabajo físico, pero gracias al Señor el nos dio la fortaleza necesaria para terminar con el proyecto.Durante este mes nos visitaron y hospedamos a 120 indígenas Awa.En el mes de marzo, durante los días 20 al 23, realizamos la décimo primera conferencia Awa. Hubo una asistencia de 32 adultos y 42 niños. Tuvimos la grata visita de nuestros hermanos y compañeros de equipo Diego y Dorcas Williams, quienes viajaron desde los Estados Unidos para acompañarnos en estos días, fue un tiempo muy especial donde se pudo apreciar la obra que el Señor está haciendo en cada uno de los creyentes Awa.Fue muy especial ver la forma como Dios esta usando a Milton, Paulino, Humberto y otros hermanos. La gloria sea para el Señor. Durante el mes de marzo nos visitaron y hospedamos 327 indígenas Awa.A principio de este mes, durante los días 2 al 7, nos visito un grupo de hermanos de la iglesia en los Estados Unidos donde son miembros la familia Bruce. Se trabajo fuertemente en la construcción de un cerramiento para la propiedad. Se adelanto bastante el trabajo, no se termino, porque esta construcción es un proyecto bastante grande, en la actualidad hay 3 maestros terminando la obra.Algo que nos impacto de estos hermanos, fue su dedicación, esfuerzo y amor que mostraron durante su estadía entre nosotros.Mis queridos hermanos, a grosso modo estas son las ultimas noticias, muchas gracias por sus oraciones y el interés que muestras por la obra Awa y por todo lo que Dios esta haciendo en Lita y en el Ecuador a través de la Misión Liebenzell.Que el señor les bendiga.Germán por el equipo Awa.
