Hello Parents!                                                                                   

Well, we've reached the end of another year in Children's Ministries!  Thank you so much for allowing Grace Church to partner with you as you "train up a child in the way he should go." 

In case you're still confused on what is happening this summer, here's the scoop! 

All summer programming will start on June 20th.

Nursery/Toddlers:

There are no changes in the nursery during the summer.  Care will be provided during both services and during the ABF/SS hour for infants - 3+ year olds.  (Children that turned 4 during the year will move up to their new class in the fall.)

Preschool - Kindergarten:

There are no changes for this age group this summer.  Their class will meet during the ABF/SS hour as well during the final 1/2 of the 2nd service.  (Children that are entering 1st Grade will move up to their new class in the fall.)

If you would like to become part of the team this summer, we are still in need of some occasional helpers during the S.S. hour.

Grade 1-5:

            ABF/S.S. Hour

This age group will meet together in the Fellowship Hall during the SS hour.  They will have a time of worship, watch a short video, and then have the chance to get to know an elder in our church.  If your children are in Gr. 1-2, please remember to pick them up directly after your ABF class.  The older children will be free to go unless you inform us otherwise.

            2nd Service

As usual, your child will stay with you for the first half of the service and then be dismissed to go downstairs for their own time together.  The "hand's on" science lessons presented will help the kids to discover more about who God is and what he desires for us.

If you would like to become part of the team this summer, we are still in need of some teachers and helpers during the 2nd service. 

Grade 4-5:

            "Pre-Teen Youth Group"

I hope to test run this ministry during the summer.  If you are interested in hosting (either this summer or next fall), please let me know ASAP.  We're aiming for once a month gatherings filled with fun and encouragement for this critical age group of kids.

            Move Up

5th graders will "move up" to Jr. High S.S. and Youth group in September.  They are welcome to join all the Children's Ministry programming this summer.
